How to Turn “I Don’t Want a Party” Into a Memory That Sticks (+ Behind-the-Scenes of Our Fortnite Party Project)
Rob turned 41—and he's the kind of person who says:
“Don’t do anything, okay? I really don’t want a birthday.”
And if there’s one thing I’ve learned:
That’s exactly when a little surprise makes the biggest difference.
So what did I do?
I turned our family photos into cartoons and made a celebration anyway.
Cartoon versions of Rob, me, and the kids—taped on the walls, hanging from banners, filling the house with quiet joy.
And guess what?
Even someone who “doesn’t care about birthdays” smiled today.
Big time.
🎈 Celebrating in Your Own Way
Not every celebration needs balloons or a huge guest list.
Sometimes, all it takes is one simple idea, a personal touch, and a little sense of humor.
That’s the heart of what I share here at Juul Creations:
You can make any moment special.
Big or small. Messy or perfect. With your own kind of magic.
🎮 Fortnite Party Project – Behind the Scenes
Meanwhile…
Yes, the Fortnite Birthday Project is in full motion!
Liam and Max both picked the same theme (yep: back-to-back Fortnite parties 😅), and I’m building an entire mission-filled party universe. Totally screen-free, filled with real games and real fun.
This week I worked on:
-
An interactive Save the Date designed like a “Top Secret Mission”
-
The first sketch of our Drop Loot (a party invite disguised as a surprise kit)
-
The Party Passport with in-game style challenges to complete during the party
Nothing’s for sale yet—but here on the blog, you’ll see everything take shape, step by step.
As real and messy and joyful as life itself.
💡 Want Something Custom?
Today was Rob.
Tomorrow it might be your best friend (actually, tomorrow is my birthday, haha), your child, your grandpa, or your partner.
If you’d love to turn a simple day into something a little magical—I’d love to help.
Big parties, small gestures, or something completely unexpected—let’s create it together.
